Meredith Corp. has joined the live video and VR craze that seems to be sweeping the consumer publishing industry. First powered up in 1966, Index Stock Shots celebrates 50 years in the footage industry. Founded by aviation film maker Gerry Weinbren, the genre has long been a speciality of the collection, featuring 35mm colour footage of aircraft, airlines and airports from the fifties to the present.

BFI Premieres Restoration of 1929 Film The Informer
The Archive Gala at the 60th BFI London Film Festival is the World Premiere of a new BFI National Archive restoration of Arthur Robison’s The Informer (1929). This rare silent adaptation of Liam O’Flaherty’s famous novel, with a new score, is set among Dublin revolutionaries in the early days of the newly independent Irish Free State in 1922.
