DIGITAL MEDIA:
Developed, implemented, and managed Internet-Based Digital Media Asset Management system; worked with IBM, MediaSite, Inc., WB Director of Technology, to develop software and hardware for projects; installed computer and VCR hardware associated with projects. Monitored and maintained disk space for department consisting of server and 5 workstations. OASIS (database of film/television production elements) administrator.
MEDIA MANAGEMENT:
Digitized over 2,000 clips with descriptions and metadata. Fulfilled Stock Footage requests and created viewing tapes for all major studios and post production departments. Assigned negative rolls, wrote descriptions, and logged footage from live-action and computer graphics. Researched Key Number Trim ranges in small to large negative rolls; noted trim information on negative rolls and in the digital library. Worked with Dub room to create computer-friendly dubs of master elements when necessary for digitizing.
FILM ARCHIVE MANAGEMENT:
Managed Negative Cutting Department to confirm receipt of all negative rolls requested. Worked with Archives group in obtaining film negative and video prints to complete Library work and facilitate digitizing. Created computerized versions of the Post Production Stock Usage Report Form & Stock Footage License Agreement Form, now in use department-wide. Developed and wrote instructions for POPS (Post Order Processing System)
