Movie Licensing Deals for ITN Source
ITN Source says it has provided footage for the new Stephen Frears Film 'The Queen', starring Helen Mirren who won the best actress accolade at the recent Venice Film Festival. The film, produced by British Pathe and Granada Screen, features the crowd scenes at Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace as Diana's coffin was moved as well as shots of wreaths and flowers left at the gates of Kensington Palace. In other movie licensing deals, ITN Source recently supplied footage for 'Superman Returns' and has provided material for the upcoming UK films 'The Last King of Scotland' directed by Kevin MacDonald and 'This is England' directed by Shane Meadows.
