Moving Image Launches Real Browsing

UK footage house Moving Image Communications has a new-look web presence, and has added a visual search tool to its database. The new search engine is described as being at its "beta version" stage with full launch by the end of the year. It allows researchers to view clips and complete films. Material is encoded using the RealPlayer system, which can play run programmes from the beginning, or skip to any timecode.
