Index Digs into its Commercial Airplane Archives
Alongside new footage from Los Angeles, San Francisco and London, much of it featuring airport activity, footage house Index Stock Shots has released for licensing material from its archives. The footage, all shot on 35mm film and fully HD compatible, contains what it calls "unique coverage" of early operations at Heathrow and Idlewild -- the early name for of JFK Airport. Famous aircraft and airlines are featured including air to air of the DC3 (Dakota), DC7C, Super Constellation, Comet and VC10 aircraft.
