Probe into Share Options at Getty Images
Getty Images is withholding formal filing of its Report and Accounts for the last quarter after its board of directors established a special committee to conduct an internal investigation into the Company's stock option grant practices and related accounting. The review is being conducted with the assistance of outside legal counsel. The Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission had earlier notified the Company that it is conducting an informal inquiry into the Companyﾩￆs stock option grant practices, and requested information relating to the practices. The Company says it is cooperating fully with the SEC in this informal inquiry.
