Jupiter's Meckler Forecasts Web Opportunity Explosion
Jupitermedia CEO Alan Meckler in his personal Internet Media Commentary blog says he believes the 100 million websites presently on-line will grow to one billion within eight years. He highlights the opportunity by forecasting "at least 10 percent of these billion Web sites will be significant buyers of images, music, animations, clipart, flash movies and stock footage." Jupitermedia itself wholly owns more than seven million digitised pieces of content covering all genre.
