AP Archive's Julia Martin Dies at 36 Julia Martin, AP Archive's New York-based business development manager died last night after a short illness. She was 36. Born in the UK, Julia relocated to New York in 2000 where she played a major role in spearheading ITN's expansion in North America. In July 2007, she joined AP Archive's New York office where she was responsible for building relationships with customers throughout North America. She contracted pneumonia two weeks ago and, despite radical treatment and the best care, she was unable to recover. Head of AP Archive, Alwyn Lindsey said "I've lost a dear friend and a great colleague. The amount of calls and emails I've had today just show how much she was loved by those fortunate enough to have known her." Memorial and funeral arrangements are expected to be announced in the next few days.
