Gdansk is given back to Poland. President Boleslaw Bierut, Chairman of the Labour Rada, and Prime Minister Edward Osubka-Morawski (Osobka-Morawski) on visit in Gdansk (Dantzig / Danzig). Meeting, they pose ifro some bldg w/ a group of inhabitants, mostly women and children. Little boy wearing a Polish flag on his lapel. Bierut and Premier Osubka-Morawski, accompanied by Polish and Soviet officers, walk across the damaged town of Gdansk, inspecting and assessing the need for reconstruction.
