Road rage in Doncaster after St Leger Stake horserace
Shocking road rage footage shows drunk racegoers fighting with a passing driver.
The group in suits and shirts were drinking outside a pub in Doncaster town centre on Saturday evening after the St Leger Stakes race.
But witnesses said they became rowdy and sparked angry scenes after spitting at a passing red Volkswagen Golf.
Denzil Shirt, 26, who was a passenger in a car behind, filmed the fuming driver leap from his seat and square up to the group.
Footage shows a woman in white stilettos and pink suit try to hold back the man in a beige shirt.
But he exchanges several vicious blows with the furious driver before he is ushered back to his vehicle.
Denzil said: ''It happened after the St Legers horseracing in Doncaster. I was just coming back and there was some confrontation in front of me.
''The red car drove past and the guys spat on the car so the driver got out.
''There was just no need for it all. The two main guys were throwing punches at each other and there was a bit of argy-bargy with other people in the group and passengers in the car.
''There was lots of shouting and swearing but luckily nobody was hurt.
''It wasn't what I was expecting after a leisurely day at the races. They need to keep their emotions in check.''
