CCTV footage has emerged of hapless thieves dropping an ID card on the floor as they rob a shop in China.

The video, captured in the store in Jinan, Shandong Province on September 23, shows the alleged bungling burglars suddenly wrapping towels of some kind around their heads when they realise there are security cameras in the building.

Towards the end of the clip, we also can see an ID card police apparently found at the scene.

Two men were later arrested in an internet cafe in relation to the robbery.

We can also see an ID card drops on the floor in the shop.

The ID card belonged to one of the thieves. While, two men were arrested by police in an internet cafe.
