How to Transport a Giant Rocket
SpaceX plans to send the biggest and most powerful rocket ever built, the BFR, to Mars in 2022. But how do you transport it from the factory to Cape Canaveral? This video shows some interesting footage from the Saturn V moon project, showing how it was done in the 60s.
Given the size of the BFR, 106m tall, and 9m in diameter, will take an enormous effort to transport it from the factory to the launch site. This video covers every possible method that could be used to transport the rocket. It shows some old but fascinating footage of the Saturn V moon rocket being moved in the 1960s, giving us clues as to how this ambitious project might overcome these obstacles.
